Chetwynd House Nominated for National Design Award

Family-run, Chetwynd House Care Home has been shortlisted in the 2018 national Pinders Healthcare Design Awards.

Adept Care Homes, owners of Chetwynd House, are celebrating the home’s nomination in the “Best New Care Home” category with Chartered Surveyors, Edward Cooper Young, and care home builder, Wynbrook, who collaborated on the design and build.

Open since December 2018, Chetwynd House provides affordable luxury, and has been specially designed to ensure residents enjoy the finest accommodation where attention has been paid to every detail, from the inclusion of innovative technology to assist with everyday care planning to beautiful hotel-like furnishings and decor.

Dave Lock, Adept Care Homes Managing Director, said: “We are thrilled to have Chetwynd House nominated for a prestigious Pinders award. A lot of skilled individuals have worked together to ensure Chetwynd House meets our aim of being a superb place to live and work. Being shortlisted for such an award is once again testament to our commitment to providing excellent care in a superior environment.”

Chetwynd House is the second new care home that Wynbrook has built for Adept Care Homes over the last two years, and a third home is already in the pipeline for 2018.

Wynbrook’s Design & Build Construction Director, Steve Day, said: “We are thrilled to have completed another luxury care home for Adept Care, both on time and within budget. We look forward to working with them again.”

Ashley Cooper, Senior Partner, Edward Cooper Young Chartered Surveyors added: “We are delighted to have played our part in successfully delivering our third project for Adept Care Homes, with a fourth scheme on the horizon in March 2018. It is fantastic to work with a client who embraces collaborative working, which has resulted in many design and operational improvements from each project to the next”.
