Peter Savage, former Chief Operations Officer at St.  John Ambulance in London has joined the board of family-run, Midlands-based care home group.

Peter, who lives in Leicestershire, has been appointed Quality Director for Adept Care Homes.  He brings with him a wealth of senior management experience in the public, private and the charity sectors.

Dave Lock, Managing Director, said “We are very excited to have made this appointment and believe Peter can take our care homes forward with new ideas.”

Peter, who is a keen cyclist and follower of local sports, said “It is great to bring my knowledge and experience to help a local business go from strength to strength.  Adept Care Homes was recently nominated as a finalist in the Laing Buisson care awards, proving that they are committed to providing high quality care in the Midlands.”

Operations Director, Emma Philpott, said “We are looking forward to Peter’s involvement at our homes.  He will help ensure that we maintain our position as a leading provider for care in the Midlands.”

One of Peter’s first projects will be to look at how we attract, retain and develop team members to ensure that their experience of working for Adept Care Homes is a good one.
