Something for everyone

Adept’s care homes are active and vibrant places where residents are supported with making their own choices about the activities they want to participate in.

Our wellbeing programme is called S.P.E.C.S. (Social, Physical, Emotional, Cognitive and Sensory) and we’ve carefully selected activities that are fun and interesting but that also contribute to an individual’s Quality of Life, through supporting their physical and mental and emotional needs.

There is literally something for everyone, from armchair volleyball to cooking and crafts. And we all love it when visitors come into our homes. From the local primary school to organisations like Pets at Home bringing in furry friends, our aim is to open our doors and make sure residents continue to live life as they always have.

Activities chosen for you

Moving into a new care home can sometimes be a little daunting. Once you’ve had time to settle in, our Activities Coordinators will meet with you to learn more about you and your hobbies and interests and will highlight any activities that you might like to join in.

Our Activities Coordinators will continue to work with you to ensure they can support your hobbies and interests with future social programmes.

In addition to our regular monthly social programme, we also have a packed schedule of entertainment and special events. Visit our Events page for a taster of some of our forthcoming events.
