The Knowles Care Home has given local healthcare professionals a taste of life at the home with a special networking breakfast.
The event to showcase the home and meet the team and residents was attended by paramedic teams, district nurses and social workers.
“This is a very good idea. As a professional, being able to see the team and all their hard work as well as meeting residents is invaluable. It should happen at all homes across the city,” commented retired nurse, Susan Kavanagh
“Our aim with this informal networking event was to give our local healthcare professionals the opportunity to drop in and meet our team, see the home and of course, interact with our residents.
“It was great to see so many people attend and the feedback we’ve had was extremely positive,” explained Bev Jones, The Knowles Home Manager.
