Located in Chilwell near Beeston, Nottingham, Family-run Chetwynd House offers a luxurious award-winning service with the highest quality of care. Residents are tended to and cared for by our ‘adept’ team, with their dignity, independence, and happiness as the cornerstone of our care.

The home comprises five separate care suites for individual and small community living, each with its own beautifully decorated and furnished lounge, dining facilities and lifestyle kitchen. Our team are experienced, skilled, passionate, caring, and completely dedicated to the happiness and wellbeing of our residents who are encouraged to live life as they choose with an extensive social calendar that is packed with meaningful activities, clubs, trips out and regular entertainment for all.

Our residents and team have been vaccinated against Covid-19 and Chetwynd House makes every effort to remain Covid-Free.

Our Activities

Our residents enjoy a varied and engaging program of activities and events, designed to enhance the physical, mental and spiritual well-being of all our residents.  From creative activities such as painting, baking and gardening, to regular visits from entertainers such as singers, dancers and musicians, religious services and outings, our activities are intended to inspire and engage our residents as individuals and as a community.

Our Facilities

We have a great choice of lifestyle facilities within the home, including a spa bathroom, a hair salon complete with a nail bar, The Barracks Pub and a cinema, where our residents regularly get together to watch their choice of film.

With five separate care suites, each with its own restaurant-style dining room and lifestyle kitchen, as well as a café, our residents have a great choice of dining options. We take pride in offering high-quality food, chosen by our residents and prepared by our experienced catering team.

Great news, There’s no need to book online to arrange a visit with your loved one but please call at least 10 minutes ahead so we can expect you. Further information can be found below, under ‘Visits’

Visiting

Great news, There’s no need to book online but please call at least 10 minutes ahead so we can expect you. You will be asked for evidence of a negative LFT upon entry, however, if you visit regularly, you need only test twice per week. Unless you have an exemption certificate you are asked to wear a mask at all times within our homes along with any other PPE provided to you by our team upon entry. Please speak to the manager if your loved one may be distressed by you wearing a mask. When departing please wash your hands before making your way to the reception.


We ask that you do not visit if you feel unwell, even if fully vaccinated and have tested negative for Covid. You may resume visiting 5 days after you feel better following symptoms like cough, cold, high temperature, diarrhea, vomiting, etc.


Please Note: Internal visits may be cancelled without notice if directed by the local authority should a Covid outbreak occur. However, pre-arranged essential and end of life visitors are exempted, and all others may visit externally using the booking system below.
