Kiwi House Care Home in Alvaston, Derby Hosts a Fine Art Auction to Celebrate June’s Artwork Display at Bluebird Fine Art Gallery
Kiwi House Care Home hosted a Fine Art Auction to celebrate the success of June’s lifelong wish of having her artwork being displayed to the public at the Bluebird Fine Art Gallery.
The auction was an absolute success, showcasing a diverse range of wonderful artwork donated by our community. Friends, family, and the local community gathered to mark this special achievement and enjoy a evening filled with art, excitement, and celebration.
There was much competition for those bidding on the artwork, creating a lively atmosphere. June’s talent was well-recognised and praised as her beautiful standout piece, the focus of the auction, was a popular contender amongst bidders. June, a talented and passionate artist, was taken back by the recognition of her work and the support from the dedicated activities team at Kiwi House. The afternoon was rounded off with a vast selection of cheese, wine, and sweet treats, enjoyed by all.
Kiwi House raised an outstanding £250! This money will help fulfil Kiwi’s residents’ wishes and continue enriching their lives through personalised and meaningful trips and experiences.
