Residents at Bowood Court Care Home in Redditch were treated to a truly special Easter Monday, as a local biker group roared in for a memorable visit celebrating a shared love of motorcycling.

Bowood Court is home to some residents whose lifelong passion for motorbikes has shaped countless memories, with years spent on the open road embracing the freedom and adventure that riding brings. The visit created a meaningful opportunity to reconnect with those experiences, taking a vivid trip down memory lane.
The biker group, made up of riders of all experience levels and a wide range of bike types, was formed to support one another—pairing more experienced riders with those newer to the road. Their strong sense of community was clear from the moment they arrived.
Residents embraced the occasion by dressing up, adding to the excitement and atmosphere of the day. As the bikers shared their stories, it sparked heartfelt conversations, with residents reminiscing about their own riding days, holidays spent touring, and the thrill of life on two wheels.
Trevor, a dedicated motorcycle enthusiast, especially cherished the visit alongside his wife, Molly, as it brought back treasured memories of his time riding. Colin also thoroughly enjoyed the experience, showing great curiosity as he asked questions and learned more about the bikes.
