We understand that placing the care of someone you love into the hands of others, or choosing to go into care when you can’t manage at home any longer, is a very difficult decision. Our whole team recognise that each resident is unique and ensures that our care and support is personalised to the individual’s needs. We promote independence and respect choice, privacy and dignity.

We realise that the people working in our care homes are motivated by making a difference to our residents’ lives. We encourage this by valuing aptitude as much as qualifications when recruiting, providing on-going personal development and offering promotion from within. Within our dedicated team, over 25 people who have been with us for between 10 and  35 years.

Take Ownership of all we do. Complete all work competently, with pride and pass any incomplete tasks to appropriate teammates. Always be open and honest, take personal responsibility and be accountable for actions. Own up to errors and learn from them within our ‘no blame’ culture.

Communicate Well by using peoples preferred names, and always respecting confidentiality and discussing concerns in private. Never gossiping or being offensive and using ‘Plain English’ in all communications.
