We understand that placing the care of someone you love into the hands of others, or choosing to go into care when you can’t manage at home any longer, is a very difficult decision. Our whole team recognise that each resident is unique and ensures that our care and support is personalised to the individual’s needs. We promote independence and respect choice, privacy and dignity.
We realise that the people working in our care homes are motivated by making a difference to our residents’ lives. We encourage this by valuing aptitude as much as qualifications when recruiting, providing on-going personal development and offering promotion from within. Within our dedicated team, over 25 people who have been with us for between 10 and 35 years.
Our Vision is to be ‘A Superb Place to Live or Work’.
We recruit and support people that share Our Values to build a strong, successful team who help each other improve skills and use best practices. We commit to prioritise our residents needs and provide a continuously improving, always outstanding, service.

Starting in business at 16 years old, I founded Adept in 1985 and led the group as Managing Director until 2021 and now as Executive Chairman. My role has always been to ensure our homes are of a quality that I would be pleased for my parents to live in. Both parents have lived very happily at Moat House which has reinforced my pride in what we do. I continue to enjoy close involvement with our homes.
