ANGELA RIPPON CUTS THE RIBBON AT GRAND OPENING OF HARRIER HOUSE CARE HOME

Renowned TV Presenter and Alzheimer’s Society Ambassador, Angela Rippon cut the ribbon and Officially Opened Harrier House Care Home in Hucknall, Nottingham on Saturday 1st July 2023.

Harrier House Care Home, a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to providing exceptional care and enriching later life, is delighted to announce the official opening of its doors. Esteemed TV presenter Angela Rippon, joined by BBC’s Our Dementia Choir, graced the occasion with her presence, adding a touch of glamour to the event while highlighting the importance of quality care for the local community.

Angela Rippon, renowned for her contributions to the world of broadcasting, expressed her support and enthusiasm for Harrier House Care Home. “It’s an absolute honour to be here today, this is not a care home, but a home that cares” she said. “Harrier House Care Home is a testament to the importance of providing exceptional care and support to the community. It’s heart-warming to see a home that values compassion, dignity, and respect for the residents and their families.”

Angela enjoyed meeting the residents, their families, and the team whilst everyone is invited to enjoy live entertainment from BBC’s Our Dementia Choir, Alfie The Therapy Horse and Rob Wilson.

The team at Harrier House Care Home have spared no effort in creating an environment that promotes well-being and happiness among its residents. The facility boasts spacious and comfortable rooms, beautifully landscaped gardens, and a variety of recreational activities to encourage social interaction and engagement.
