Appointment Puts Resident Wellbeing First

Family-run care home group, Adept Care Homes is boosting its commitment to resident wellbeing with the appointment of a Wellbeing Manager.

All 7 Midlands-based Adept Care Homes will benefit from the considerable experience of newly appointed Wellbeing Manager, George Dewis, who joins the company having amassed 8 years working in the care sector.

“I was drawn to the Adept Care Home group largely due to its unwavering commitment to ensuring and enabling all residents live a full and enriched life,” explains Mr Dewis.

“I’m very much looking forward to enhancing and building on the diverse programme of meaningful activities already being provided. Together with the company Activity Coordinators, who do everything from organising day trips to leading armchair exercise sessions to inviting local community groups to come in and engage with residents, I’m excited about the difference we can all make.”

Dave Lock, Adept Care Homes Managing Director, added: “Social interaction and meaningful engagement are genuinely at the heart of all our homes.

“We’ve created the new Wellbeing Manager role to really ensure all residents have access to a fun and varied social programme as well as to provide support for their physical and emotional wellbeing.

“We welcome George to our team and are already inspired by some of his ideas for engaging residents, our team and the local community, to make residents lives as fulfilled as possible.”
