Moat House Care Home scooped two awards for Team Commitment and Lifestyle and Wellbeing at the annual Adept Excellence Awards Gala Night.
The home who prides itself in providing ‘a superb place to live or work’ was recognised for its efforts over the past 12 months.
“We are also proud that we have achieved the lifestyle & wellbeing award. The wellbeing of our residents is always paramount in everything we do, and life at Kiwi House is designed to provide a full range of enriching physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. The sense of community and companionship offered by all our social areas and communal activities helps promote their independence, choice and dignity,” Hayley Langley, Home Manager.
“I am very pleased that we got the team commitment award as we work very well as a team, it is all about teamwork and pulling together to give our residents 100%, We are all so passionate about our residents lifestyle and wellbeing, We are exceptionally proud of our homes and the hard work that goes on to make it the vibrant, happy place it is to live and work,” said Activities Co-ordinator, Cathy Bown.
“I’m delighted and pleased for everyone. You all look after us so well, it’s wonderful news, well done,” said Marylin, a resident at Moat House.
