Residents and team at Kiwi House Care Home are getting into the festival spirit as they prepare to host their first-ever summer celebration — ‘Kiwifest’ — on Saturday 5th July from 11am to 4pm.

This exciting community event promises a full day of live entertainment, delicious food and drink, a festival glam station, and a very special performances including the Kiwi Chorus Choir at 4pm.
In true Kiwi House style, residents have been at the heart of the preparations, throwing themselves into baking club and craft sessions to help create decorations, treats and goodies for the big day. It’s a whole-home effort, bringing everyone together and sparking joy, creativity, and connection in the lead-up to the event.
“Kiwifest is a celebration of everything that makes our home so special — laughter, music, togetherness, and community,” said Jeanette Heath, Home Manager at Kiwi House. “Seeing our residents come together to craft, bake, and plan has been a real highlight. We can’t wait to welcome friends, family, and neighbours to join the fun!”
Entry is free, but a £4 donation to the Residents’ Social Fund is kindly suggested, helping to support meaningful activities and outings throughout the year. Plus, guests who book their place in advance will receive a free drinks token to enjoy on the day.
From festival face glitter and garden games to freshly baked treats and sing-alongs, Kiwifest promises to be a day to remember.
