Kiwi House Care Home Teams Up with Local Council to Clean Up Their Community

Residents of Kiwi House Care Home in Alvaston, Derby, demonstrated their commitment to environmental stewardship and community involvement by joining forces with Derby City Council for a successful litter picking morning at Kiwi Park. The event, part of Kiwi House’s Sustainability Initiative and coinciding with Great British Spring Clean Week, highlighted the home’s dedication to sustainability and earned them recognition as a finalist for this year’s Care Home Awards in the category of Best for Sustainability.

Residents and team of Kiwi House eagerly participated in the cleanup efforts at Kiwi Park, working alongside representatives from Derby City Council to pick up litter and enhance the local neighbourhood’s cleanliness.
