Love, Music and Memories at Kiwi House Care Home Valentine’s Ball

Residents, families, and team members at Kiwi House Care Home in Alvaston, Derby, came together for a joyful and heartwarming Valentine’s Ball, celebrating love, friendship, and togetherness.

The special afternoon opened with a beautiful performance from the home’s very own choir, the Kiwi Chorus, accompanied by a touching slideshow of treasured moments from the past year. The moving tribute celebrated the friendships, laughter, and meaningful connections shared between residents, families, and staff.

The celebrations continued with fantastic live entertainment from singer Sophy, whose lively performance had everyone singing along and dancing. The perfect finishing touch was a glass of wine and a slice of delicious chocolate cake, enjoyed as residents relaxed and shared the special occasion with loved ones.

A team member at Kiwi House said: “It was such a wonderful afternoon. Seeing our residents singing, dancing, and reflecting on so many happy memories was truly special. Events like this mean so much to everyone.”
