Moat House Care Home, Burbage, triumphed in this year’s Christmas Choir Competition, winning the award for Best Large Choir.
Held at the historic St. Catherine’s Church in Burbage, the event saw resident choirs from Adept Care Homes across the Midlands gather to showcase their musical talents. Moat House’s choir impressed judges with their cohesive performance and strong vocal presence, earning them the esteemed title.
This festive tradition includes months of preparation and rehearsal, culminating in a day filled with joy and holiday cheer. After performing, residents enjoyed a delicious fish and chip lunch and festive treats, making the day a cherished memory for all involved.
