Residents at Moat House Care Home were delighted to welcome some very special guests to their recent Healthcare Professional Breakfast — with officers from Hinckley Fire Station, the local Police team, and the Traffic Collision Unit all attending.
The light-hearted morning gave residents the chance to chat with the teams, learn more about their important roles, and even take a closer look inside the emergency vehicles — an experience that sparked plenty of excitement and conversation.

One of the biggest highlights was for resident Joyce Jackson, who proudly stepped into the role of “PC Joyce” for the morning. She even had the chance to switch on the police sirens, filling the air with noise, laughter, and big smiles from everyone watching.
The event was a wonderful opportunity to bring the community together, celebrate local heroes, and create memorable moments for residents.
Paul Bundyford, Manager at Moat House said: “It was such a fantastic morning. Our residents loved meeting the teams, asking questions, and of course, having a bit of fun with the sirens. It’s not every day you get to become a police officer!”

The Healthcare Professional Breakfast is part of Moat House’s ongoing commitment to building strong community connections and creating meaningful, joyful experiences for residents.
