Two Redditch care homes are set to become one under the new ownership of leading Midlands’ residential and dementia care provider Adept Care Homes.
Bowood Court and adjacent Bowood Mews in Hewell Road, Enfield, which were previously owned by Avery Healthcare and are two of the top three ranking care homes in Redditch at www.carehome.co.uk, are set to become Bowood Court & Mews as part of the family-run group.
The home is set to benefit from a pioneering dementia approach developed by Stirling University, while other benefits include a lively entertainment programme led by full-time activity co-ordinators. The home also has an award-winning chef to ensure residents receive delicious, home-cooked food, with nutritionally balanced meals served every day. Cakes worthy of a patisserie are also available.
In addition, all home employees are paid a minimum of the government’s new National Living Wage, not just those over the age of 25.
Adept Care Homes managing director Dave Lock said: “We focus on making our tagline, ‘a superb place to live or work’, a reality for our residents and team. Bowood Court & Mews has adopted our ‘vision and values’ in everything it does and we are delighted to have the home join the group.”
All bedrooms at the home have an en-suite, many enjoying views across the leafy gardens, and there is a choice of dining rooms and lounges for socialising.
