TV Doctor officially opens refurbished luxury Bowood Court & Mews

TV’s Doctor Hilary Jones spent time with residents and team members at Bowood Court & Mews Care Home to officially open the £1million refurbished home.

Dr Hilary commented: “This is a truly beautiful care home. Clearly a great deal of effort has been made to ensure the residents enjoy luxury living. The facilities are some of the best I’ve seen in a care home, it’s no wonder I’ve met so many happy residents and team members today. It’s been a genuine pleasure.”

And Bowood’s residents couldn’t agree more: “The place looks beautiful, I love everything about it” said resident Lidia Slevin. “It’s been professionally and tastefully done” added resident Francis Burrell.

“We’re delighted Dr Hilary was able to join our celebrations. This impressive transformation has seen the introduction of care suites, designed to give residents a more intimate level of care with residents being treated by small care teams. With beautifully decorated resident en-suite rooms and spacious lounges with lifestyle kitchens, we’re proud to have created a stunning home which also enables residents to retain their independence, whether it be laying the table for dinner, or making a cup of tea,” said Dave Lock, Adept Care Homes Managing Director.
