Easter Bunny Hops into Chetwynd House for a Weekend Full of Egg-citement!

Residents at Chetwynd House Care Home in Chilwell were all smiles this Easter as a very special, fluffy-tailed visitor made a surprise appearance – the Easter Bunny!

With a basket full of chocolate eggs and plenty of cheer, the Bunny bounced from room to room, delivering sweet treats and even sweeter smiles to residents and team members alike.

But the fun didn’t stop there – the egg-stravaganza continued all weekend long with a packed programme of Easter celebrations! Chetwynd House opened its doors to welcome friends, families, the local community – and even the local firefighters, who dropped in for some festive fun and friendly chats.

The highlight of the weekend was the lively Community Easter Fair, which saw the home filled with laughter, live entertainment, and all things Easter. From themed games and crafts to cake stalls and singalongs, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

“It was just brilliant seeing everyone come together – our residents lit up with joy,” said Amanda Jelbert , Home Manager. “And we’re still not sure who enjoyed the Bunny visit more… the residents or the firefighters!”

With chocolate, community spirit, and a whole lot of hopping good fun, Easter at Chetwynd House was a celebration to remember!
