Residents and team members are in the mood to celebrate having been shortlisted for TWO national industry awards AND scooping an Adept Excellence award in the space of a week.
Part of the Adept Care Homes group, Chetwynd House Care Home in Chilwell has been named as a finalist in the Laing Buisson 2018 Healthcare awards and in the National Care awards with glitzy ceremonies taking place later in the year.
Chetwynd House also scooped an award for Customer Satisfaction at the annual Adept Excellence Awards.
“I think this is fantastic news & well deserved as the staff are so very kind & considerate to all of us who live here at Chetwynd House” said resident John Jones, aged 84.
“We do what we do because we love the residents but being recognised with such a great award has made us all feel incredibly proud” said Helen Gratton, Senior Carer.
“Awards are great way to recognise and showcase the fantastic work and the dedication to residents that goes on daily in our homes. This year we approached our Excellence awards differently by asking for residents, their relatives and our own team to tell us which award Chetwynd House should win. We were overwhelmed by the response which makes these all the more special. Everyone should be extremely proud with this awards success, ” explained Dave Lock, Managing Director at Adept Care Homes.
