Conscripted to the German army, one to Russia and one to the Artic with the Mountaineers company. “It’s so wonderful going to the library all those books in one place for us to choose from. I’m so happy,” said Elizabeth.
“We are delighted to welcome residents of Chetwynd House to Inham Nook Library where small groups visit us on a regular basis. We hope it provides an additional interest to people who enjoy books and may not be able to get as much as they might like. It certainly helps us demonstrate the worth of our smaller libraries that often provide a lifeline to some of our customers. We loved having the residents and look forward to getting to know them better during their regular visits,” said Jackie Smith, Principal Library Manager.
“I’m delighted we can resume our visits to the library as it’s been such a long time. I have been using the click and collect service that’s available but nothing beats being able to peruse what’s on offer in person,” said Hazel Warhurst.
