This month, Douglas Court Care Home in Derby celebrated a truly remarkable milestone as resident Esme turned 104 years old. To mark this special occasion, the residents, team, and local community came together with a heartfelt goal: to ensure Esme received 104 birthday cards.

The celebrations at Douglas Court were a resounding success. The dedicated team at the care home worked tirelessly to make Esme’s day memorable, filled with joy, love, and surprises. Esme was surrounded by family and friends as she opened an astounding 108 birthday cards, surpassing the initial goal. These cards came from across the Adept Care Group and the supportive local community, reflecting the high esteem in which Esme is held.
