We offer high standard of affordable care in a comfortable and compassionate environment. Our residents are encouraged to lead an enriched life, supported by our engaging social programme packed full of clubs, trips out and regular entertainment.
We have comfortable and well-equipped bedrooms and lounges and our pleasant sensory garden hosts patio seating areas and an aviary. Our friendly, well-trained, caring team ensures person-centred care for residents. Residents with dementia are supported with sensory areas, reminiscence activities and memory boxes.

Our Activities
Our residents enjoy a varied and engaging program of activities and events, designed to enhance the physical, mental and spiritual well-being of all our residents. From creative activities such as painting, baking and gardening, to regular visits from entertainers such as singers, dancers and musicians, religious services and outings, our activities are intended to inspire and engage our residents as individuals and as a community.

We have a great choice of lifestyle facilities within the home, including a hair salon where our residents regularly get together and enjoy a little ‘me time’.
With two separate restaurant-style dining rooms, our residents have a great choice of formal or casual dining options, and we take pride in offering high-quality food, chosen by the residents and prepared by our experienced catering team.

DOUGLAS COURT VALENTINE’S CELEBRATION ❤️✨
We had a truly heartwarming Valentine’s Day here at Douglas Court. Beryl’s husband, Alan, brought along their lovely dog Scruff, who is adored by everyone - it was so special to have him join the celebrations!
We also loved hearing Pam and Mark’s beautiful story. They met at Rolls-Royce in 1971, quickly fell in love and were soon married. One of their favourite hobbies has always been countryside drives -something they still enjoy together to this day.
All of our couples had a wonderful time, sharing lunch and spending the day filled with love, joy and cherished memories.
