With only a few weeks until Christmas Day (yes, really!), residents and their families at Chetwynd House Care Home in Chilwell, Nottingham are already getting excited about the prospect of a visit from Father Christmas. The great news is, they won’t have to wait until December 24th for the jolly fellow to make his way to Nottinghamshire.
Despite this being the busiest month of the year for him, Old St. Nicholas has once again set aside time to visit residents, their families, friends, and members of the local community for a magical, memory-making morning at Chetwynd House.
This year’s much-loved Breakfast With Santa event will take place on Saturday 20th December, starting at 10:00am, at Chetwynd House Care Home, Slade Road, NG9 4GS.
Guests will enjoy a festive photoshoot with Santa — complete with a special gift, if you’ve been good! — along with a delicious breakfast prepared by the award-winning kitchen team. Visitors can choose between American-style pancakes with traditional toppings or hearty sausage cobs, with cereals, fruit and juices also available. Younger guests can look forward to seasonal fun with gingerbread decorating, bringing out their creativity and festive spirit.
“My grandchildren are coming in for the morning to meet Santa and his elves — they are so excited!”said a resident.
“Our Lifestyle and Wellbeing programme is designed entirely around our residents — their passions, interests, and the moments that bring them joy. Christmas is a very special time for them and their families, and events like this help make Chetwynd House ‘a superb place to live or work’,” said Danielle, Activities Lead at Chetwynd House Care Home.
Tickets are still available, with all proceeds going directly to the Residents’ Social Fund, helping to support ongoing activities and special events throughout the year.
