Chetwynd House Care Home proudly welcomed cyclists, supporters and members of the local community as it hosted the East Midlands leg of the Great British Care Cycle Relay, celebrating the dedication, compassion and achievements of the social care sector.
Residents, families, and loved ones came together at Chetwynd House Care Home in Chilwell on Saturday 14th February to enjoy a joyful Pancake Day celebration filled with sweet treats and special moments.
Guests were treated to a delicious selection of freshly prepared pancakes, served with a variety of traditional toppings, and perfectly paired with a complimentary glass of prosecco. The event created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, giving residents the opportunity to celebrate alongside their families and enjoy quality time together.

Residents from Chetwynd House Care Home were proud to take part in the Adept Christmas Choir Competition, enjoying a day full of festive music and joyful moments at St Catherine’s Church in Burbage.
The competition brought together choirs from across Adept Care Homes, creating a warm and uplifting atmosphere filled with Christmas cheer. Chetwynd House impressed the judges with strong harmonies and heartfelt singing, earning the award for Best Vocal Choir.
With only a few weeks until Christmas Day (yes, really!), residents and their families atChetwynd House Care Home in Chilwell, Nottingham are already getting excited aboutthe prospect of a visit from Father Christmas. The great news is, they won’t have to wait until December 24th for the jolly fellow to make his way to Nottinghamshire.
Despite this being the busiest month of the year for him, Old St. Nicholas has once again set aside time to visit residents, their families, friends, and members of the local community for a magical, memory-making morning at Chetwynd House.
