Adept Care Homes has pledged its continued support for care workers by signing up to The Care Workers Charity.
The Care Workers Charity supports the basic welfare of current, former and retired care workers. With donations from individuals and from care homes and their staff, the charity provides financial assistance to care workers experiencing financial hardship.
Family-owned, Adept Care Homes, has joined the Care Workers Supporters Club to recognise the vital work that carers do every day. “We are delighted to support The Care Workers Charity and have committed to making annual donations,” explains Dave Lock, Adept Care Homes Managing Director.
“This will enable the charity to provide more hardship grants to support past and present care workers in need.
“In addition, we will be inviting our care team to unite and help with fundraising activity to further support the charity. Our team will also receive information about how to nominate local carers or ex-carers who may benefit from the charity’s fund, which they refer to as a ’rainy day fund for everyday heroes’.
