Bowood Court & Mews has been celebrating the centenarian birthdays of two of its residents.
Selby Park born, Hilda Clulow is now 109 and Josie Slater, from Birmingham, is now 104. Both ladies celebrated their birthdays in style with parties and cake!
Hilda, whilst clearly happy with her birthday party said few words about how she feels about turning 109. “I feel alright really!” she said.
“Both Hilda and Josie are always smiling and happy – which is maybe the secret to a long life!” said Pauline Vernon, Bowood Court & Mews Home Manager.
Dave Lock, Adept Care Homes Managing Director, added: “What a wonderful few weeks of celebrations at Bowood Court & Mews. Reaching 104 and 109 is really quite something and we are so pleased to be able to celebrate and make an extra special fuss of both birthday girls.”
