Chilwell home to create 80 new jobs

Adept Care Homes is creating 80 new jobs at a brand-new luxury care home being developed in Chilwell, Nottinghamshire.

Building is already underway on the £8 million bespoke, state of the art, 75-bed home which is due for completion in November 2017.

Dave Lock, Adept Care Homes, Managing Director said: “With the build on track, we’re starting the recruitment process to ensure we have the right team in place to make the new house a home.

“We are extremely pleased to announce the appointment of our experienced home manager, Claire Chorwell and we are now looking for carers as well as staff to form the housekeeping team.”

The home, being built in the Chilwell area, is family-run Adept’s 3rd purpose built care home and will offer affordable luxury and the highest standard of care.

Replicating its successful, ‘small community living model’, Adept is creating 5 care suites of 15 beds, giving the home’s residents a more intimate personalised care plan from a dedicated care team. Residents will see the same familiar and friendly faces everyday.

Each suite has been purposefully designed to include its own lounge and dining facilities together with a lifestyle kitchen to enable residents to do the things they have always done, from baking buns to laying the table for dinner.

Luxury facilities will include large en-suite bedrooms, a cinema, pub, corner shop and hair salon. Residents will also be able to enjoy beautiful landscaped sensory gardens complete with an aviary.

“We are now completing the ground floor of this exciting new project, our eighth home in the Midlands,” added Mr Lock. “We are looking forward to providing superb care for residents and a great working environment for the care team at our first Nottinghamshire home.”
