Residents and team members are in the mood to celebrate having been shortlisted for TWO national industry awards AND scooping an Adept Excellence award in the space of a week.
Part of the Adept Care Homes group, The Old Vicarage Care Home in Clay Cross has been named as a finalist in the Laing Buisson 2018 Healthcare awards and in the National Care awards with glitzy ceremonies taking place later in the year.
The Old Vicarage also scooped an award for Quality Care at the annual Adept Excellence Awards.
“I feel very well looked after here, so yes, I fully agree with this award. Well done to everyone!” said Gwen Fletcher resident aged 84 “We don’t do it for the praise but we work hard to take good care of our residents and it is nice for this to be acknowledged,” said Kelly Bexton Senior Care Assistant.
“Awards are great way to recognise and showcase the fantastic work and the dedication to residents that goes on daily in our homes. This year we approached our Excellence awards differently by asking for residents, their relatives and our own team to tell us which award The Old Vicarage should win. We were overwhelmed by the response which makes these all the more special. Everyone should be extremely proud with this awards success, ” explained Dave Lock, Managing Director at Adept Care Homes.
