Residents at Harrier House Care Home in Hucknall were treated to a heartwarming spring surprise as a group of adorable lambs paid a special visit — bringing laughter, joy and plenty of smiles along with them.
Since opening in May 2021, Harrier House has built a strong and treasured intergenerational relationship with the teachers and children, especially the Kindness Crew of Flying High Academy. What began as a community connection has blossomed into a heartwarming partnership filled with shared activities, learning, and friendship.
The festive event brought together choirs from across Adept Care Homes for a joyful celebration of music and togetherness. Harrier House stood out by performing an original Christmas song written by residents and staff, earning them the award for Best Creative Choir.

Held on 7th May 2025, the evening celebrated the very best in social care, with a red-carpet welcome, fine dining, and moving tributes to teams who embody dedication and heart.
