Adept Care Homes is thrilled to announce the much-anticipated return of its annual Christmas Choir Competition. This cherished tradition sees resident choirs from all Midlands-based Adept Care Homes gather at St. Catherine’s Church in Burbage, Leicestershire, celebrating the holiday season through song and community spirit.
Taking place this year on Thursday, 5th December, the event promises to be a heartwarming day filled with festive cheer. Each resident choir will perform a song of their choice, one they have been passionately rehearsing for months. The competition culminates in a magical group performance featuring all the choirs singing together in perfect harmony.
After the morning performances, participants will enjoy a traditional fish and chip lunch provided by Burbage Fisheries, followed by a festive treat of mince pies and mulled wine crafted by residents from their baking club.
The day concludes with Father Andrew and members of the St. Catherine’s choir revealling the competition results. The anticipation, joy, and sense of camaraderie make this event a highlight of the year for everyone involved.
