It has been announced that BBC’s Our Dementia Choir is set to join former BBC 9’O’clock News Presenter and Alzheimer’s Society Ambassador, Angela Rippon to officially open Harrier House Care Home this July. (July 1^st 2023)

The residents, their relatives and the team at Harrier House are excited for the long-awaited Grand Opening which had to be rescheduled due to covid restrictions. Adept Care Homes will be hosting a lavish grand open ceremony for their newest care home, Harrier House in Hucknall.

Bowood Court & Mews Care Home is Set to Officially Open New Pub For Residents

Bowood Court & Mews in Redditch is set to celebrate the official Grand Opening of its new onsite Pub, The Queens Elizabeth Arms on Monday 26^th June 2023.

Residents can now enjoy a tipple down at their ‘local’, after the care home transformed its leisure and wellbeing facilities to include a traditional English Pub and Beer Garden, where the authentic pub atmosphere comes to life.

School Intergenerational Project Delights Moat House Care Home Residents

Residents at family-run Moat House Care Home in Burbage have been participating in an all new ‘Intergenerational Project’ with the students at Hastings High School, in partnership with Leicestershire County Council.

The project was started by Burbage Local Area Co-ordinator, Rachel Ball, designed to support and strengthen the local community links around the village of Burbage.

Family of Harrier House residents, some of whom are currently living with dementia hopped on board the specially equipped bus to experience what living with Dementia may be like for their loved ones.
