Residents are encouraged to write down their biggest wish for 2023 and place it on the home’s ‘wishing tree’. Every month, one wish is randomly picked, and the dedicated activities and wellbeing team set to work making the big dream come true.
The Old Vicarage Care Home scooped an award for Best for Wellbeing at the annual Adept Excellence Awards Gala Night.
The home who prides itself in providing ‘a superb place to live or work’ was recognised for its efforts over the past 12 months.
“We are so proud that we have achieved the Wellbeing award. The wellbeing of our residents is always paramount in everything we do, and life at The Old Vicarage is designed to provide a full range of enriching physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
