As part of the Make a Wish initiative, which encourages over 100 residents to share their wishes, no matter how big or small, later the wishes are placed in the homes Magic Wishing Well and every month at least one resident is picked at random to see their wish come true.

The chef teams help the residents at each home to meticulously crafted their own perfected versions, presenting them to a panel of judges at the eagerly anticipated annual mince pie-making competition.
