Thanks to a generous donation of VR headsets from Chalcot Care, Kiwi House residents will soon embark on virtual journeys around the world and immerse themselves in tranquil and captivating landscapes, all from the comfort of their home.
Scheduled to commence on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, this initiative is set to revolutionise the way residents experience entertainment and engage with the world beyond their immediate surroundings. The introduction of VR technology promises to uplift residents’ spirits, stimulate their senses, and provide a novel way to explore various destinations and settings.
Through this VR experience, residents of Kiwi House Care Home will have access to a variety of awe-inspiring virtual tours, allowing them to virtually travel to iconic landmarks, cultural sites, and natural wonders from around the globe.
